Mobile bookings are available on Saturdays and Sundays, with a minimum of two clients. Travel is charged at $1 per kilometre for the return journey, plus a $50 packing and setup fee, and both are included in your quote. All equipment and products are brought to your location. Yes. Bridal trials are recommended and are held at the studio, by enquiry. During the trial Sadaf discusses your vision, tests different styles and reviews your dress and wedding theme, and there is time to adjust products and see how the makeup photographs and wears.

Products and techniques are selected to support lasting wear, based on your skin type, tone and the occasion. Wear may vary depending on skin type, weather, activity and other individual factors. For bridal, enquire 6 to 12 months ahead, especially through peak wedding season from October to April. That secures your date and leaves time for a trial. For formals, engagement parties and other events, 2 to 4 weeks notice is usually enough. A late enquiry is still worth sending, because whether it can be taken depends on what is already booked.

Yes. Thorough skin preparation is included with every makeup appointment, because healthy, prepared skin is the foundation of a smooth, even finish. Preparation includes cleansing and hydration to create a smooth canvas that helps your makeup sit well and last.

Yes. Bridal parties and groups are very welcome. For bookings of more than five clients, an additional hairstylist or assistant may be arranged, subject to availability. Group bookings are also available for hens parties, milestone birthdays and girls’ nights. Each person is quoted individually for the service they need, so tell Sadaf your group size and the time you need to be ready and she will put a plan and a quote together.

Plans do change. Appointments can be rescheduled with at least 14 days notice, subject to availability, and your deposit moves across to the new date. Inside 14 days the deposit is forfeited. A booking may be rescheduled once. Deposits are 50 percent of the final quoted amount and are non-refundable in all cases, including cancellations made with more than 14 days notice. As a guide, bridal makeup takes about 2 hours including skin preparation, and bridal hair about 1.5 hours. Hair and makeup together is about 2.5 hours, sometimes up to 3. Allow extra time in your schedule to stay relaxed and avoid rushing. For bridal parties, a detailed timeline is worked out so everyone is ready on schedule.
